What are your plans for your journey in here?

My plans are about increasing my knowledge from those more experienced than me in the whole area of alloying and melting using burners of different kind. I have been melting small amounts of gold with my hydroxy set up but wish to do my own alloying and therefore need some different more grunty gear to handle larger volumes(not huge). Following on from that I wish to motorise my rolling mills next. One this at a time as I only have a small brain!!

Welcome to the forum. I think if I had to pick one profession that this forum has been able to help the most it would be jewelers looking to refine scrap and process it into their own alloy.

In some ways the price of gold combined with the recession is starting to kill it for us jewellers a bit because if makes our jewellery unaffordable. So it makes it a good time to carry on learning. I never get sick of learning!!

There's always Silver, seeing a lot more Silver with Gold inlays and stones in for refining.
