Did anyone else save the pdf's mentioned in this thread? if memory serves me right there were a few pages of dental alloys by trade names with the break down of what they contained metal wise. I had saved these in the past but am unable to find the usb drive I have them on and might be needing them in the near future.

*edit to add I ask because for me the links are now dead*

Thanks everyone

Thank you very much for those documents!

I'm not sure if those are the ones I was looking for however... if memory serves me right the pdf contained at least 3 pages of trade names for the alloys on a yellow background in a list very similar to the first document you posted... (this probably isn't the thread I am looking for for that document in that case, Back to the search box)

Thank you again though!

Hi !
I don't want to high-jack your thread or stear it to amalgam fillings.
I was just studying your thread trying to learn alittle about dental scrap and am more knowagable about the subject since finding your post.
I had a very bad abcess and just had two molars removed. I asked the dentist if he sent his stuff out for refining. He told me he just throws it away because the refiner he contacted told him he wasen't interested because it contain mercury. He said that he will save it for me if I want it. I have my two molars with silver amalgams from 1967 and hopfully will start recieving my first dental scrap! I'll keep studying! Thanks for the interesting post.
