No this didn't come from quartz. My father's co-worker found it with a dozer blade quite accidentally in 1997. Thought you all would appreciate it anyhow!
 
I have enjoyed following this thread since it started, but I do believe that it should be moved to the Sell and Trade section. Love the pics, Snowdog, but that is my opinion on where the thread belongs.
 
Yeah I know. I've been digging up pics from years past here and can't resist throwing them up here. Tell you what, you guys pay me in delight, and I'll consider it a sale! Right now I'm donating visual pleasures to the forum. And look on the bright side, the IRS probably won't seek penalties from any of you for my gifting!
 
snowdog20: What are the larger red nuggets in the last 2 pictures-look too dark for any rose quartz, must be either waterworn garnet chunks or rubies,nice pics!
