I think I put two ziplock bags in yours. I've started to leave out the bags though. This ore is funny in that it is much lighter than normal cons. It makes drying it out easier though!

I ground up the whole bag put in a bottle mixed all together then got a 30 gram sample ran standard assay with litharge and got what you see.

Did you try to post pics?

Didnt try to post any pictures you could not see any gold in my bag even with a 40 power glass. did take some with digital micro scope.

Hi my friends!
My order will be shipped soon. Well! I guess I'm going to start reading about quartz and learn alittle about panning.
Always wanted to see if there really is gold in Alaska! or if it was just one of those urban rumors. Ha Ha!
This should be interesting!

Message for Art-

In part of what I am sending you, you're getting 20 +/- lbs of unsearched quartz. It's still dirty in fact. Just yesterday I found some amazing pieces in some of that bucket I washed. You're getting the rest! When you get it, look through for nice gold-quartz specimens. I'll bet you have at least a dozen! Please post pics if you can.

Hey Everyone,

We went back today, it was an awesome success! If you want good cons you can actually refine and all the rest of it I have plenty to go around. I'm being very picky about my material and constantly sampling. Needless to say Art, what I am sending you man, all about 1/4 to even somewhat bigger than 1/2. All of it came from same place, better look before you crush!

On those last pics, that one is a picker sticking out of the quartz. I used my 200X microscope because I can't get my camera to focus on it very well.

hi all! I migrated from another forum. also ordered a sfrb of these g.b. quartz. I have a 3" rock crusher to crush up the quartz.

Hey Snowdog!
I'm lookin forward to checkin it out! Never messed with planetary fragments before. Only electronics ore and some "not much cash for gold" jewelry.
I feel like I'm a newbee again embarking on something new that I know little about.
What I love about you-all and being part of this forum! It'll never get old and I'll always remain a newbee!

Well I'm sitting on about a ton now people after yesterday. My body hurts a lot. I will try to stockpile as much as I can this month and even September. If it isn't good ore I won't send it out. But honestly this whole ton is good, except for those damn granite rocks. I checked about 7 lbs yesterday and pulled out over a hundred quartz-gold samples. I'll pull out the granite as best I can. I wish I could dredge the rest out, but since it is in the rocks that would be pointless!

I am presently drying material out, if anyone wants this material unsearched I can tell you there are no dud batches. At most I will pick out any granite I see. That I will do as thoroughly as I can, because the granite is useless. These orders will be as high a percentage of quartz as I can get them.

Here's a few of my latest pics...

apologies to forum members who didn' understand what sfrb was. It is a small flat rate box of snowdogs cons. or concentrates. I also used the abreaviation g.b. in reference to the material. I should have spelled out gold bearing instead of g.b.
I will try not to upset moderators and others with my newby mistakes.

on that note I can't wait to get by box of gold bearing material to check out.

Thanks for the corrections. I'm pleased to see that you understand the importance of saying things clearly. Some of our readers don't use English as their primary language, so we must always try to post such that they can make sense of what we say, to say nothing of avoiding confusion for those of us who do.
