Question for the experts

I have come upon a bankruptcy of a computer company here and have recieved about 20 lbs of these pieces which are used to dock a motherboard to the inside casing of a computer.

My question is are these gold plated? I have been told yes by a local buyer but he seems to be not the sharpest tool in the shed.

The motherboard standoffs are made of brass.

it is made of Brass when you put in nitric acid it will change acid color to light green it mean that cooper in this part because brass is made of with copper and Zinc . the best method is if you inquiry any metal part put in nitric acid .if nitric acid change its color it means that it is no gold if you see Shining glitter like a gold it means that it gold Alloy.
