ok i am new to this my measurements are correct but it is cold as hell outside... i have to produce my own nitric acid to make a AR solution
using potassium nitrate...
i attempted the poor mans method also....
so heres my thought with the low outdoor temps i am thinking it is cause slowed activity resulting in poor or void of performance......

am i correct or should i have another evaluation in my mixture and methods

When you dissolve you potassium nitrate you need to heat up your distilled water to be able to dissolve it but after you finish that step and put the sulfuric acid in you need to cool the solution down to below freezing and then filter the solution.
