All acids and chemicals needs to be treated through a proper waste stream. We plan on recovering the nitric acid as shown by nerd rage.
Nitric acid recovery
Neutralizing the sulphuric acid and draining it down.

Recovering the nitric will result in, a.o., cadmium sulfate, how will you treat the chemical waste, I hope it's not "draining it down after "neutralizing" but removing toxic salts by forming hyrdoxides or carbonates that can be filtered off to discard clean water and offer the hydroxides to a recovery plant. We plan on recovering the nitric acid as shown by nerd rage.

Sulfates have to be roasted at dull red heat to decompose them to metal oxides and SO2.Recovering the nitric will result in, a.o., cadmium sulfate, how will you treat the chemical waste, I hope it's not "draining it down after "neutralizing" but removing toxic salts by forming hyrdoxides or carbonates that can be filtered off to discard clean water and offer the hydroxides to a recovery plant.

Yes when the cadmium burns off it let’s off a yellow to brown smoke and to let it soakI'm pretty sure to remove cadmium and other metals mentioned the melting needs to happen for an extended period of time.
