I can't figure out why you would want to add salt to your AR.....if it's to form silver chloride it will form any way due to the hydrochloric acid content, if you mean add it to your nitric from inquarting then yes but personally I'd rather cement the silver out than have silver chloride. The cemented silver will have any gold and PGMs with it and can be re used for further inquartation after rinsing and when you have an excess you can put it through a cell and recover the slimes to refine.
