I don't know why, but I had a very hard time with propane. I could get the powder to get red hot and get hard & crusty, but never get it to actually melt. I was totally new at the time; I use oxy/acetylene now. I think maybe it is possible I didn't realize it would take so long, and also that its better to have some fire wool insulation under the dish; I was trying to melt in a dish on a rock, and it was probably acting like a heat sink

I try to take it to the gas welder
They using two gases in a single pipe (I think that is oxy and acetylene)
If it works then I buy new mini setup
