Silly question

So im trying to pour or I siphon off some water from some foils, but there is a problem some of my foils have fallen to the bottom and some are floating ! Is there any technique to get these foils to settle to the bottom ?

If they are in water dip your finger tip in and let the foil set on your finger then roll it into a ball and dip your finger back into the water and it will fall to the bottom.

If they're heavy enough to sink, hit them with the spray bottle, usually does the trick. Same for floating gold particles after a drop.

You could try heating the solution that sometimes speeds up settlement, stirring can also work as can adding a little washing up liquid as it helps remove any grease that may be causing the foils to float.

Thanks yall, I tried stirring and heating. But the washing liquid is what? Dish soap?

One single drop is probably enough.
