Getting better, it all comes down to what you want to crush. For burned polishing sweeps it should be OK with 3/4" steel balls. For ceramic circuits I think you will need more crushing power.What are you looking to crush?

A brewing keg?

I'd be willing to bet the wall thickness on that stainless can is only around .020". The horizontal ribs in the can shown in the photo are to give thin material a modest degree of rigidity. This won't last as a ball mill.
