Stanous test solution VS suspension

Oh wise ones;
I have some solution setting for a few days, some gold dropped with SMB but still tests positive. (BGA in AP, rinsed muriatic and water, processed with acid/bleach)
Does stanous confirm in both solution and in suspension?

No stannous chloride does not test for gold in suspension only gold in solution.

Trying evaporating the solution down to 1/2 of it's original volume.
