Yes! you're right, he should have long ago!
Luckily nothing is ever lost, like energy and mass.
Gold will not undo itself, it changes state at best. You just need to be able to find it.
All the gold on the earth has formed long before the first grains of planet earth started clumping together.

I found gold!!! It took 4 times but I got it. I think there's too much nitric and it's actually dissolving the gold again hut it's what I got.

Can I add ammonia as a base and raise the ph?

Can you give more details on what you did to recover (some of the) gold?

Why do you want to add ammonia? And to what? waste treatment? Test for copper in spent solutions?
