Hi Watson, hope all is well.
What kind of torch/dish setup are you using to melt? It looks like you could have used a bit more heat. Or possibly just insulating your dish to help the melt retain more heat, so that you get that nice 'snap' that happens when the gold melts completely and pools together into a nice round button.
It is nice to finally have something to hold after all that work isn't it! 8)

Is that the gold from the gold filled? It looks like it could benefit from a second refining.
Did you refine it or did you just melt it after the base metals dissolved?
