How did you discover our Forum? : google

I just started working in a recycling plant for WEE, and discovered a lot of PM that are not being recycled.
I have a masters degree in mining engineering and I am familiar with all the mechanical and chemical methods for upgrading materials, but because my country doesn't have any gold deposits my schooling was mostly on rock mining. I have been reading this forum for a few days now and just wanted to introduce myself.
Hello everybody!

Medco welcome to the forum.
Your in for a real education here if you read all the advised matter. Take the guided tour and read the saftey section that should get you off to a decent start. Download and read C.M.Hoke it will give you a good basis for understanding the forum and it's many threads.
Whether your company ever actually refines or not you can learn where and what has values and separate those parts to send for refining and hopefully gain some praise for making your company some extra revenue.
I wish you luck and look forward to hearing which direction your studies will lead you.

cosmicnur,

Welcome to the forum. I see from your interest you have no trouble learning things that interest you, this is not much different. if you are interested, and wish to learn it you can, although there is not much in life worth learning that is easy to learn, but anyone who wishes to learn and is willing to do the work needed, there is nothing He cannot learn if he puts his mind to it.

This is a fascinating field of study, you will never learn it all, but you can have a lot of satisfaction from trying to, it is not hard to learn but does take time and work. I think this is something you will really enjoy, I look forward to seeing you learn this art, and sharing with us what you learn. I also look forward to sharing with you what I learn, this way we both help each other in this fascinating field of study.

Welcome to the forum, the best place in the world to learn this ancient art.

What are you looking for in our community? : Information and adivise in different catagories of materials and in the end someone to do some refining for me
How did you discover our Forum? : google

Will most likely never do any refining myself,i use the forum as a source of information about how, where to get material, how to sort it properly and general good advise in finding/collecting material.
I´m a first time collector so to say, never had anything refined before but i have my own little pile of rounded off Cpu´s,chips, smd´s,pins, mobile phone board and at the current moment i have 70-100 kg of mixed end connectors that i´m picking up for free from a copper granulate buisness:) Ok its every sort of connectors from all kind of wires but if ther´s 20 kg usefull stuff its a win for me,counting gas for picking it up.

Thats my 2 cents intruduction.

Hello M. Fikry and welcome to the forum. I hope you will find what you are looking for here. When it comes to refining this is the best place to find information on the internet.

A small advice, put Indonesia into the location in your profile, then people wouldn't assume you live in USA when answering questions. Some brand names and laws differ around the globe.
