You're right. I got really pissed off and carried away by his ignorant rant aimed at me while I tried to explain why others react the way they do. And I got accused of stuff I did not do. But i guess it says more about him than me. At least he is a paying member so he (thinks he) has the right to accuse people of all sorts of things, call people names, break forum rules and not get corrected or banned..

I wonder who will help him get pm's from those ugly oyster shells. I sure won't.

Martijn, GieTM just joined the forum on Sunday. His first posts were OK. He started getting a little sideways Monday evening, but he really just went off the rails yesterday. He was banned this morning. That's just one day. You have to give the moderating team a little time to do our job. You may not see it, but there are often discussions going on behind the scenes about problem members before we actually ban someone.

You're welcome. I understand your frustration. A Troll like this can blow up a thread in short order, making multiple posts in a short period. That can cause other members to try to respond. And in just a couple of days time a thread becomes a 4 page waste of time for everyone who tries to keep up. It is exactly what Trolls want.

To everyone, please don't feed the trolls. If we don't feed them, they starve and move on pretty quickly on their own.

Martijn the mods are now well spread geographically but we do try to seek others opinions rather than just react to bad behavior.
I commented on a post you or the rest of the forum can’t see , the comment was he can insult me , I really don’t care , but I won’t stand for insults to other members, and that I will stand by.
