Sorry for my ignorance, I only used under 5 minutes to pick up the information I needed.

Still, I have seen a part of kovar used as the anode in CuCl/CuCl2-electrolyte dissolve within 5 minutes. As said, interesting but useless in practice.

I did talk with Jerry about this as he was working on it and told him it was not a viable process. I am not part of it and claim no credit for it. Jerry was trying to find a way to dissolve the pins without making AR solution and the experiment just shows what we all should already know, that you can dissolve metals (even gold) with sodium hypochlorite and electricity. Jerry used my name in it as a show of respect and I appreciate it but please do not think that any of this was my idea. I tried to talk Jerry out of posting it until he could show that it would have beneficial results but he was eager to prove that he knew what he was talking about. That's fine if you don't mind the ridicule later but I have decided that my reputation may be at stake here. I would like to not be associated with this anymore.
