Hi,
I've been here a few times, reading many of your posts and experiences.
apart from breaking a few old phones and PC motherboards, I've not yet started doing anything with it.

There's a ton of questions still hovering my head that i want to clear before starting to mess with acids.

I get it that different metals have influence on the outcome..
For example copper or steel....
1...But, which one to use to improve the final quality of the gold...?
2... How do you later turn it into solid gold..?
2.b...Simply by fire, or does it need further treatments...?

Much appreciate any help

Welcome to us.

You have a long road ahead of you.
There is a lot of studies to do.
Start by reading the safety section and then waste treatment while you read Hokes book of course.

After a while you will start to understand more and more.

To your questions:
1 . There is not enough information to answer this question, what Gold from where?
2. Same as 1. What form is it in and how did it enter this form?
3. as with 1. Fire do not do anything to Gold, it may (s)melt it but it will then solidify again

Here are some links to study:

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=19798
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/forums/safety.47/
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/threads/dealing-with-waste.10539/
