Yes. And it isn't even from the back end. :)

The name can change again depending on whether it is dry aged or smoked. For me, it's about taste so I am going to try both and decide which I like best. I will know. which one just as soon as the wife lets me know. 🤣

Hmm, why does that sound familiar??

Day before Yesterday we had Chicken Adobo with plenty of garlic, onions, ginger and bayleaf.
Usually marinating over night in the fridge or ref as my wife call it.
Then a Kurdish mix of short fried pasta with raisins and peanuts and raw salad on the side.

Yesterday it was fried salmon with a Filipino touch with garlic, spring onion and ginger with rice.

Today it is the Children's choice, pasta with meatballs and sauce with raw vegetable salad.
So nothing fancy these days.

I'm having to nibble on dried fruit as I read this thread. It's too early to start on the evening meal. Is it supper or dinner for you?

Super time here. Just finished Spaghetti with garlic bread and scratch made peach cobbler. I could have done with half of what I ate :)

I'm thinking of making something out of hamburger meat, cabbage and onions with some seasoning. Now to go create.

and in this cold morning
the left over is better than any gold.
Yes but at $2,900 an ounce surely it is just an expression! But it is an appetizing sight!

What is that sticking up out of the bowl of rice with an avocado in it? Looks like a snapshot clipped from our rocks section!

Hehehe looks like a gold nugget 😎.

it is called tostones
is a caribbean food made of green Plantain.
the recipe is
cut the Green plantain in pieces like 1 1/2 inches
Fry it, in a pan but not completely.

Take it out and smached a bit .
then put it back in the pan and fry it until it's crispy.
take it out and add salt at taste.
