Does copper only knock out gold or does it also knock out silver?

How to extract the precious metals from these relays? I thought that I would take it apart and put it in dilute nitric acid to dissolve the silver and palladium and the rest in AR. I can't wait for the iron to dissolve.

The best is to open them and separate all that is valuable from the junk. Dispose of the junk
Then you can strip the remaining base metals from the valuables.

I understand and thank you for your answer! I don't know where the palladium and silver are in it, I recognize the gold.

Why do you think there are Pd and Ag?
All PMs will be in the contact points inside and potential the leads.
So if you strip off the leads and the contact points additionally to the pins.
You should be left with just a small amount of base metal and even less PM.

I know that gold and silver are used because they conduct electricity better than copper, I don't know why other precious metals are added.

I wanted to neutralize the nitric acid with sodium carbonate, but it didn't work out, so I cemented it with copper, and I think that's why there was iron hydroxide on top. What do you think? Why does silver not dissolve in AR?

Welcome to us.

Your question indicate you do not understand the chemistry behind it.
So I will give you something to study in the end of this post.
So a couple of questions.
What did you dissolve?
Why do you want to neutralize the Nitric in stead of deNOxing it?
Where did you learn this?
Silver do not dissolve in AR because of the formation of Silver Chloride.

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: Screen Readable Copy of Hoke's Book
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: Safety
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: Dealing with Waste

How can palladium be precipitated from nitric acid? 500 grams of dmg costs $320 here in our country. Do I need to detoxify the nitric acid before I precipitate it?

Ammonium Chloride, Copper cementing or Zinc cementing depending completely on how it was dissolved.
You don’t detox Nitric, it is always as toxic as it is.
But I guess you mean deNOx.
If you have dissolved it with excess Nitric I assume it is necessary.
Give us a bit more background and your questions should be easier to answer.

I haven't unlocked it yet! I want to dissolve it with 35% nitric acid.I wanted to write Denox.

I did not want to write this. The translator is wrong. So there are silver-plated gold-plated and palladium relays.

So your plan is to dissolve Silver and Pd first and then Gold?
If you drop Silver first by AgCl and then cement out Pd on Copper, you should have relatively good separation.
Then you can go for the Gold.
