almost exactly the green color i get
I was in Nevada
exploring some abandoned old mine
that it supposed to be gold mine

We pick up some ore crushed and panned
and we get this beautiful yellow thing

I think i will get rich ,but I was very wrong
some one I guess He told me that is
Wulfenite is a lead molybdate mineral.

My Dreams of become rich is gone

I crushed few rocks and i put it in aqua regia

filter it and test it with stannous chloride
and i get first abrown,then turn into a nice green
color
No gold in those ore rocks

I do hope you can get one. There may be a lot more to the permit than you think.
Is the area where you live designated for chemical buisinesses? if not, do you have a place in an industrial area?
Can you provide a risk assesment for the surrounding area and the gasses you will expell in an emergency situation like a fire ( even one next door, or natural forest fire)?
Do you have the proper storage facility with safety measures for the chemicals and waste?
Once authorities find out you're refining pm's, you will have to provide an administration proving the source of you gold, and where you sold it, how much you're going to have to pay on taxes, have a good waste disposal plan, etc. etc. it can be done, but may prove to be not so much fun as a hobby anymore.
There are laws preventing trade in bouillon to keep criminals down, hence the move to digital money all around the world.
Once you've applied for a permit and it get's denied, prepare to be visited to check on your activities.

I don't plan to do any huge amounts, I could get a industrial area place for the right opportunity i guess. I could ***** the risk simply because of the ridiculous amount i would be able to prove i hold (of reactants and what i used them for).
Do i have to pay taxes for small amounts refined? Can i pay in silver?
I know of no laws for bullion here, other than having to prove provenience on some occasions, like if it suspected stolen.
I don't really mind, i don't have much to hide.
Also, if the permit is denied the nitrate is legal.

Well, in my eyes it looks like you have some fine gold in your pan. If the yellow stuff is not sulfides then solve a little in AR and then make a stannious test.

There are many substances that react with or behaves as catalysts for Peroxide.
So if that is considered a test, it will for all practical purposes only say that something reacts with the Peroxide.
For pure metals it is a different story, one might get some indications on the reaction speed compared to other metals.

I put 3% peroxide on a scratch on my arm! It fizzed A LOT!! Clearly, this means my arm is made of platinum! WOO-HOO!!!

There is no easy way to quantify the reaction rate of hydrogen peroxide with any substance. That would be an incredibly complex procedure AND it still is subject to enormous variations when dealing with an ORE made up of potentially dozens of minerals and metal compounds! Reaction rate tests are usually done with PURE metals and compounds, because otherwise the results are meaningless.

All this platinum ore talk yet not a single picture, it only two pieces of stone i normally keep in my aquarium, but this is definetly platinum, picture does not make justice to this gorgeous stone. Funny note is that a bit of iron oxide started coming out on one side after all the time in water, yet the whole of it is filled with platings of platinum. I would take a better pic but not waking from bed rn

Not purple stain
just get a green color stain

it fools me and others peoples that are prospecting for gold for many years.
but when i put under a microscope is way different is not metallic
is like some kind of yellow/red cristals

we found out it’s called
Wulfenite some kind of Lead thing

that zone for where we took it
is well know for Silver,lead and for gold

HCl and strong Peroxide do dissolve fine powder of Pt and Pd. But it is much slower than AR.
The beauty is, that there is no Nitric to deal with and the Peroxide itself will decompose quickly when heated.

All methods has their strengths and weaknesses.

No, but the heat increases the rate of decomposing. And the effectivity. So if you bring it to a prolonged heating close to boiling it will shorten the time to live for the Peroxide.
The same for Bleach.
It might even not be necessary to drive it off.

Exo thermic means it gives off heat to the surroundings and endo thermic that it “steals” heat from the surroundings.

You don't want to do that with an ore. You have no idea what else is in there. That's why it's better to roast the ore, then smelt with a collector metal and cupel. Then you have a bead (or not if there's nothing in the ore) which is MUCH easier to analyze chemically.

Yellow, resinous is the common form of wulfenite. The Smithsonian has specimens from the same mineralized zone as my silver deposit. It is 4inches on its sides and is from the Glove mine.

Nobody asked for the SG of the pure metals.
So unless you tell us how you test for Platinum in an ore with Peroxide, I'm tempted to say you are wrong,

I have a 4 lb. Iron, Platinum, Rhodium rock ore
160 gram artifact- Lead59% Iridium38%
And a rare Arthur Court silver plated Pallidium candlestick holder - 311 grams
And because everyone is taught and told the wrong science, I cant sell any items.
Even after XRF readings and acid tests.
Very very very frustrating.

Ore might be tested but are completely dependent that you have correct libraries loaded and so on.

The only item here suited for XRF is the candlestick holder, but that one do not make sense.
No one would Silver plate Palladium, would they?
There are a few rare pieces of Silver that is Rhodium plated, which made sense when Rhodium was cheap.

The ore is a different story.
Typical PGM content in really rich ores is like a few grams per Ton.
That means you don’t have enough to rise anyones interest. Unless you have a collectible item there is very little value there, at most a milligram or three.

Thanks man....,however I'm actually excited about the tests and information I'm given.
It seems - and I hate to say this - but sense I'm a sigma empath, I know damn well whats going on in the minds when engaging with people. And it doesn't help that Seattle got rated #1 sadest city in America. Which I knew before the new poll came out.
Point is, after passing XRf, acid, and even a density scale tests, plus having a Pallidium hallmark on 1 item, the LCS' or gold buying companies here not only just say no, but start yelling and screaming in public in front of people. They are liars, thiefs and highly racist and discriminative. And if your'e good looking, black, brown, in shape, have a good attitude, you're totally fu#ked as soon as you walk in. I'm a little buzzed, bare with my rant. So when I came here I thought this site seemed not at all biased. But then I'm reading flat out lies about stuff. People get passionate and excited in life about things, especially a hobby/business like this. But like my coin collecting days, the people in charge ruined my favorite hobby. Nickel and Copper are quite close in density both around 8.9, so maybe you are the evil one?
I do not see how you can test an ore by knowing Pt is 21.45 and not 19.3 which is Gold.
It is infinitesimally small amount of PMs in an ore so density only tells approximately what mineral it is.

Unless you have more substantial info on how one can test an ore for PGMs with Peroxide I suggest you stop now.

Mass/Density numbers are in the middle. Move a decimal over 1 to left.
Look at Gold and Silver - they are correct densities +/- .2 grams
