I found it after some pretty harsh google searching. Well hidden isn't it? :)

Ok, cards on the table as I'm that kind of guy. I get a lot of IT waste into my business. I'm currently registered as an ISO approved AATF in the UK and frankly I think I'm missing a trick or two. I'd like to help and be helped, that's why I'm here.

I'd even get a lot of personal joy, if nothing else from learning to do it myself. (A geek at heart, no apologies!)

Kind Regards

Jon

Very pleased to become a member.

My late father, watchmaker, left me with with several ounces of scrap gold and 10 of thousands of parts containing gold. It wasn't until recently that I discovered what I'm sitting on. I shall read much.

Darcy forget about the crayon and start reading, you don't have to be an Einstein to refine, you just need be able to understand the processes and have the right equipment.
I'm sure you have seen the comment, have you read Hoke? She is, yes that's right she, wrote what we consider to be the idiots guide to refining in that it's written for non-scientists or chemists to understand, even I can follow what she teaches so you have no excuses.

READ C.M.HOKE......

What does a fraud agent do? You're gonna love the guys that come here selling Gold from Africa.... :|

Hi Claudie: In a nutshell, I look at about 100 MasterCard's a day and decide fraud or no fraud on customers cards. If I think it's fraud, I call the customer to verify and do a fraud report. I also look for new cards that are issued due to fraud applications and identity theft. Prior to this job, I was in retail loss prevention. At one time, the Loss Prevention Manager for all of the Home Depot's in North Calgary and Medicine Hat. It's been a fun career but I'm ready for a change and want to work for myself.
I remember one of the post's when I first joined by the nut who wanted to know how to sell his unlimited supply of gold on the black market. That was hilarious! At work we pass around e-mails from guys like him who try to get us to do fraudulent emergency cash adv's or credit limit increases and add our own comments. Then we shut down his card.

Hi Nickvc: You're probably right. It can be a bit intimidating to read the posts and know I haven't got a clue. I'd like to get a copy of Hoke's book (hard copy) to study and see if it's a possibility in the next year. If I can really grasp it, i'll try it. My biggest concern is making a mistake during the process and destroying my gold. Are mistakes fixable or is it possible to completely ruin a batch?
Have an awesome day all
